Ava Community Energy (formerly East Bay Community Energy) is Fremont's electricity generation supplier — a Community Choice Aggregation. PG&E still owns and operates the grid and handles all solar interconnection applications. NEM 3.0 applies to all new Fremont solar customers through PG&E, regardless of Ava enrollment. Your plan set goes to PG&E for interconnection. Ava enrollment doesn't change the plan set format, the permit, or the NEM rate your customer receives.
