Cross into unincorporated Riverside County or most surrounding cities, and you're on SCE — NEM 3.0 applies there. Always confirm the utility per address.
RPU's Self-Generation Program operates under Electric Rule 22. The export credit is calculated from RPU's Avoided Cost of Energy plus a Time-of-Delivery factor — coming out to approximately 9 cents per kilowatt-hour. The system size cap is 150% of your customer's historic annual energy consumption. Over 4,700 homes and businesses are enrolled. RPU customers don't qualify for SGIP — it's limited to IOU customers of PG&E, SCE, SDG&E, and SoCalGas.
City of Riverside's Community and Economic Development Department participates in SolarApp+ for qualifying residential installations.
